Draw Bending and Roll Bending on One Machine
Rotary draw bending clamps the tube to a bend die and pulls it around a fixed radius. It is ideal for tight, precise bends. Roll bending pushes the tube through rolls to form large, sweeping radii that would need an impractically large bend die. The MRV Series carries tooling for both on its multi-level stack. A part that combines tight bends with large arcs, common in furniture, seating and healthcare frames, comes off finished in one cycle.
Bending With Zero Straight Between Bends
A conventional bender needs a straight length between bends for the clamp die to grip. The MRV is designed to bend parts with zero straight length between bends. That lets designers place bends back-to-back and saves material and secondary operations.
Up to Six Tooling Levels
With up to six tooling levels, a single MRV setup can hold several radii for draw bending plus roll-bending stations. Programmable boosting force supports bends down to 1D, depending on the material's elongation, and roll-bending springback compensation keeps large radii on size.
